Clifton is best known for its four numbered beaches, and the steep, terraced properties rising above them. This is some of the most exclusive and most challenging terrain we work on along the Atlantic Seaboard, narrow access, steep steps and limited space for equipment on many properties.

Garden space is minimal on most Clifton stands, so our work here tends to focus on individual trees rather than larger clearance jobs, with careful planning needed for access and safe rigging on the steep slope. Getting equipment and materials up or down the terraced steps typical of Clifton properties often takes more planning than the tree work itself.
Wind and salt exposure are significant here too, this is one of the most exposed stretches of the Atlantic Seaboard, and we check tree stability carefully given the combination of steep terrain and constant coastal wind.

Given how much planning steep, terraced properties need, we always start with a proper on-site assessment in Clifton, free and with no obligation.
