Fresnaye sits on the slopes above Sea Point and Bantry Bay, and generally has more garden space than its steeper, more cliffside neighbours. Larger homes here often have established trees taking advantage of the position on Lion’s Head and Signal Hill’s lower slopes.

We see a good mix of routine trimming and full removals in Fresnaye, properties here have enough space for real gardens, unlike much of the immediate coastal strip, so tree work tends to look more like a Southern Suburbs job than a Clifton one. The slope still brings some wind exposure, but less constant than directly on the coastline below.
Given the larger stand sizes typical of Fresnaye, we often have more flexibility with felling direction and access than on the tighter properties further down toward Sea Point.

Whether it’s a mature tree that’s outgrown its space or routine maintenance, we start every Fresnaye job with a free, honest assessment.
