The Foreshore is Cape Town’s central business district, built largely on land reclaimed from the harbour. It’s dominated by office towers and commercial buildings rather than residential gardens, so our work here is mostly street tree maintenance and corporate landscaping for office parks and building surrounds.
We work with property managers and facilities teams on ongoing grounds maintenance, rather than the private residential jobs typical of surrounding suburbs. Street trees along the Foreshore’s main thoroughfares need regular maintenance to stay clear of signage, awnings and pedestrian areas, work that has to be scheduled around business hours and foot traffic.
Given the commercial nature of the area, most Foreshore jobs are ongoing maintenance contracts rather than one-off residential removals.
