Macassar sits on the False Bay coast, with dune vegetation and coastal conditions influencing the area’s tree cover. It’s a developing residential area, with a mix of older and newer properties and generally younger tree growth than the more established suburbs further inland.

Sandy, coastal soil and wind exposure are factors we check for during any assessment here, similar to other coastal parts of the Eastern Suburbs. As a developing area, much of our work in Macassar involves establishing and maintaining younger trees rather than removing large old growth.
Given the sandy, dune-adjacent conditions, we pay particular attention to root anchoring and wind stability when assessing younger trees here.

We assess every Macassar property individually, always starting with a free, honest on-site visit.
