Plattekloof is a newer, more upmarket development on a hillside with panoramic views over the Northern Suburbs and beyond. Properties here are generally larger than older parts of the Northern Suburbs, with more recently planted, still-maturing trees and gardens.
Our work here often involves formative pruning and maintenance for younger trees, alongside occasional larger removals as gardens continue to establish themselves. The hillside position gives Plattekloof slightly different growing conditions to the flatter parts of the Northern Suburbs, with a bit more shelter in places depending on orientation.
Given the larger stand sizes typical of Plattekloof, we often have more flexibility with felling direction than in denser, older suburbs.
