Most tree work in Bloubergstrand focuses on younger, still-establishing trees and wind damage assessment rather than removing large old growth, which is uncommon given how exposed and relatively recently developed this stretch of coast is. Sandy soil holds less structure for root systems than the loamier ground found in older, inland Southern Suburbs gardens, so we check anchoring carefully.
